Job Description

JOB PURPOSE : The role holder is responsible for updating and uploading graphic content to applicable online services through timely and creative selection and editing of appropriate photos and videos to ensure proper representation of GDMOs key stakeholders across new media channels. The role holder also verifies the quality of proof reading performed on provided texts, uploads texts along with graphics through content management systems and edits graphics for publication in traditional media channels under production-related projects. The role holder also monitors new media channels to assure proper representation of key stakeholders image and reports needs for changing the functionalities of online services respective technical sections. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the relevant business policies and procedures.Key Activities:

  • Participates in the development and implementation of Marketing Department plans and budgets, in line with organizational objectives.
  • Acts upon the Marketing Section mandates, ensuring effective/ providing leadership for and facilitating work processes in order to achieve high performance standards.
  • Ensures compliance with organizational policies, procedures and quality standards in the Marketing.
  • Graphics Design:
  • Create graphical work & content to internal stakeholders and events, mainly (DPC, Brand Dubai, SMA, GDMO)
  • Edits graphic content provided by the key stakeholders .
  • Edits photos and videos as well as under production-related projects.
  • Edits graphic layouts of uploaded content to ensure proper representation.
Website Maintenance:
  • Performs necessary reviews of website accessibility.
  • Reports urgent requests and issues pertaining to accessibility and correct display of website and online service content.
  • Provides information to respective technology sections regarding necessary updates to the functionalities of online services.
QualificationsEducation and Qualification Required:
  • Bachelors in Visual Arts or Graphic Design or Journalism or Information Technology or Media Studies or Computer Sciences.
