Assist with the preparation and filing of VAT returns, corporate tax filings, and other filings such as economic substance reporting to ensure compliance with tax regulations.Assist with the maintenance of transfer pricing documentation and policies for subsidiaries.Stay up-to-date on relevant tax legislation and provide research support on various tax issues.Liaise with tax authorities and external tax advisors as directed by senior staff.Coordinate with external tax advisors and government authorities on tax audits and inquiries.Prepare comprehensive tax reports and presentations for senior management.Assist in the development and implementation of tax planning initiatives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial information for tax purposes.Identify and mitigate tax risks through proactive planning and analysis.Assist in the implementation and improvement of internal tax policies and procedures.QualificationsBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldProfessional certification such as CPA, or equivalentMinimum of 3-5 years of experience at a Big 4 or reputable tax consulting firm (a plus), or at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. Having an experience or work with multinational company/ies is also a plus.Understanding and ability to apply Transfer Pricing rules.Familiarity with international tax laws and treaties.Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilitiesExcellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Fluency in English & Arabic, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Proven track record of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
