Job Description

The role will develop and manage lending products for our business partners and customers across the region, in partnership with strategic partners. The candidate will be required to identify opportunities and pain points with obtaining credit and ideate solutions that create value for all stakeholders.Responsibilities

  • Develop and own lending products for partners
  • Identify pain points of business partners in obtaining credit
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ideate and operationalize scalable lending products for the SME sector
  • Lead conversations with external partners
  • Ensuring all stakeholders (finance, legal, customer care, tech, product etc.) are aligned and act as the central driver for lending products
  • Build business cases / cost-benefit-analysis for various prospective projects to support the prioritization process
  • Oversee operations to ensure launched products are running smoothly and required goals are being met
  • Identify and achieve goals together with cross-functional teams
Skills
  • Passion for fintech and an understanding of how a business like Talabat can leverage fintech to realize efficiencies in the ecosystem
  • 3+ years of payments/fintech experience in any market preferred. Strong sense of the SME lending space in the UAE
  • Self-driven with a high sense of ownership and requires minimal supervision
  • Solution-oriented and with a high sense of ownership
  • Data savvy: Comfortable with analytical tools and collaborating with data teams in order to make data-driven decisions
  • Hold excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Comfortable driving multiple initiatives in parallel
  • Ability and willingness to learn new topics fast
  • Hold good interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships
