The hotel offers a variety of luxurious rooms, suites, and furnished apartments, as well as 10 meeting rooms and one of Dubais largest ballrooms. Additionally, there are 12 award-winning restaurants and bars available on-site, including the international brand Trader Vics.Job Requirements

  • Culinary Expertise: As a Sous Chef, you should possess in-depth culinary knowledge, with the ability to create and execute exceptional dishes in line with our standards. Your expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation is a must.
  • Leadership and Management Skills: We are looking for an individual who can take the reins and lead a dedicated culinary team. Your management skills should include effective communication, organization, and the ability to motivate and guide your colleagues.
  • Training and Development: A crucial aspect of this role is nurturing the talent within the kitchen. The ideal candidate should be adept at training and mentoring junior chefs, ensuring they reach their full potential.
  • Team Player: Collaboration is key in our kitchen, and we seek a Sous Chef who thrives in a team-oriented environment. Your ability to work harmoniously with colleagues and other departments is essential.
  • Hotel Environment Experience: Prior experience in a hotel environment is preferred. Familiarity with the operational demands and high-quality standards associated with hotel dining is a significant advantage.
  • Financial Awareness: Understanding the financial aspects of kitchen management, including cost control and inventory management, is vital for this role.
