Job Description

Role Description

  • Monitors site activities, ensures compliance with the projects drawings and specifications, plans and regulations, and maintains quality control.
  • Monitors site progress in accordance with projects program.
  • Interact with clients to understand their objectives and represent their best interests in sourcing, commissioning, or providing recommendations.
  • Liaise with project management teams and other stakeholders to assist, provide technical expertise, or suggest appropriate methods
  • Provides guidance regarding scope of work, schedules, procedures, field construction problems, and other technical information.
  • Collaborates with construction management to eliminate any hazards associated with the work that may negatively affect the environment or the safety or health of personnel.
  • Oversee field site activities and provide technical advice on construction and design.
  • Maintains project control documentation, design drawings and specifications, etc.
  • Handle overall quality inspections, including budgets, planning, and on-site progress, with regular project reports.
  • Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
  • Conduct regular progress meetings with the contractor and appropriate personnel and report on any issues, as necessary.
Qualifications
  • At least 8 - 14 years experience as Site Civil Engineer who worked in an Engineering Consultancy
  • With Consultancy Experience
  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
  • Proficient in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, etc.), project management software, or basic IT skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in Dubai
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
