Job Description

Our client is an internatioanl technology provider, which is aleader in merging mobile technology with blockchain innovation. They are dedicated to developing high-performance, globally scalable enterprise mobile applications that leverage cutting-edge technology to shape the future of digital transactions and secure communications.They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Developer with a strong background in Kotlin and a passion for crypto technology. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing enterprise mobile applications, designing maintainable APIs, and understanding complex code bases. You will be responsible for designing and implementing features, optimizing performance, and ensuring a seamless user experience.

  • Develop high-performance Android applications using Kotlin.
  • Design and maintain clean, efficient, and reusable code.
  • Implement user interface and system-level mobile application development.
  • Understand and manage large and complex code bases, including API design techniques.
  • Utilize Android Architecture Components and ensure the full lifecycle of Android apps, from early stages to deployment on the Google Play Store.
  • Perform performance tuning, debugging, and monitoring of applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure the quality of technical and application architecture and design.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:Technical Skills:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Android development using Kotlin.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented software development, Android SDK, and its design patterns.
  • Experience with multithreading, memory management, and caching mechanisms specific to mobile devices.
  • Knowledge of Android Architecture Components and the full lifecycle of Android apps.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD principles and troubleshooting issues in a distributed services ecosystem.
  • Knowledge of MVVM, Clean Architecture, Dependency Injection (DI), and functional programming.
  • Experience with Firebase and its integration into Android apps.
Functional Skills:
  • Adherence to best coding, security, unit testing, and documentation standards and practices.
  • Experience with Agile methodology.
  • Ability to ensure the quality of technical and application architecture across the organization.
  • Proficient in researching and benchmarking technologies against industry best practices.
Soft Skills:
  • Ability to influence multiple teams on technical considerations, enhancing productivity and effectiveness through shared knowledge and experience.
  • Self-motivated and able to drive tasks to completion with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact and present ideas to senior and executive management.
