We are seeking a dynamic and driven Senior Accountant to join our team and contribute to our continued growth and success.Responsibilities1. Collaborate with project managers to create project budgets and forecasts. Provide financial insights to help manage project costs effectively.2. Allocate project expenses to appropriate cost centers and accounts, ensuring accurate financial reporting.3. Perform variance analysis to identify discrepancies between budgeted and actual project expenses. Suggest corrective actions when necessary.4. Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, overseeing journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting functions.5. Support month-end and year-end close process.6. Perform Invoice processing, prepare Quotations to clients, facilitate payment collections, etc.7. Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis and trend analysis. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data.8. Prepare and provide documentation for internal and external audits, working closely with auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.9. Assist with tax planning, compliance, and reporting. Stay updated on tax regulations and make recommendations to minimize tax liabilities.10. Assist with tax audits and tax returnsQualifications1. Bachelors and masters degree in accounting and Finance.2. Minimum 5-6 years of accounting experience which includes 3 years in UAE with a focus on project accounting or relevant project management experience.3. Proficiency in Odoo ERP and Microsoft Excel.4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting standards.5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.8. Experience in a project management or construction company is desirable.
