Job Description

Sales Manager / Consultant - MENA RegionOur client is an international financial company headquartered in Zurich that provides a comprehensive suite of evolving financial services and products, including security exchange services, financial information, and payment solutions.Position Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager/Consultant to support their expansion in the MENA region.The successful candidate will work closely with the global sales and pre-sales consultant teams to achieve the following objectives:

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the market based on their current product offerings.
  • Build a substantial sales pipeline to demonstrate the market potential in alignment with their product offerings.
  • Ensure initial sales in the region to support the establishment of a local structure.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and understand the financial markets in the MENA region, identifying opportunities for the Groups products.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key financial operators in the region, including banks, asset managers, securities services, and compliance departments.
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline, ensuring alignment with their product offerings and market needs.
  • Achieve initial sales targets to support the establishment of a local office.
  • Collaborate effectively with global sales and support teams to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Benchmark offerings against competitors in the industry.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the financial services industry, particularly in market data provision.
  • Strong understanding of market data, reference data, corporate actions, indices, sanctions and compliance, and various asset classes (equity, bonds, derivatives, FX, etc.).
  • Extensive network in the GCC region, particularly with local financial operators (banks, asset managers, securities services, compliance departments, back offices).
  • Proven track record of working with competitors in the industry.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, French a nice to have.
  • Strong sales and business development skills with a focus on driving results.
  • Ability to effectively liaise between prospects/clients and internal teams.
Approval and Integration:
  • The candidates profile must be validated by the EMEA zone manager and the Groups Head of Sales.
