If youre organized, proactive, and love connecting with people, this role is for you!Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

• Youll handle all incoming RFPs (Requests for Proposals) with precision and flair , ensuring every detail is covered before preparing and sending out offers. Follow up on these offers promptly, negotiate rates , and make any necessary adjustments to secure the business.
• Generating new accounts and maintaining existing ones will be part of your daily routine . Youll maximize opportunities by suggesting additional events and activities to complement our MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) bookings.
• Keeping our Sales & Catering PMS updated is crucial . Youll input all bookings, including waitlisted and inquiry bookings, and ensure every detail is accurate and up-to-date.
• Building strong relationships with clients is key . Youll keep in touch with local journalists, community leaders, and VIPs , and maintain an excellent rapport with them throughout their stay.
• Youll also organize and conduct site inspections of our conference and banqueting facilities , ensuring that our venue always looks its best. Youll handle all inquiries with a swift and efficient approach , making sure no request goes unanswered.
• Internal communication is essential . Youll stay connected with the Sales Team and other departments, ensuring everyone is aligned and informed about bookings and sales activities.
• Your role also involves attending departmental meetings , major events , and ensuring that youre always representing Mama Shelter with a positive and professional attitude . Flexibility and a proactive mindset will be key as you adapt to the needs of the business.
