Job Description

As Sales Executive at Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre, you will analyse local market trends and competitor activity to generate new future business for the hotel.What will I be doingSpecifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Analyse local market trends and competitor activity to identify new business leads
  • Develop customer accounts and travel within the local area to drive business into the specific hotel and to increase market and customer share in all revenue streams
  • Negotiate room rates and packages with corporate clients
  • Develop and implement creative local marketing channels, including social media channels
  • Prepare company contracts for the hotel in accordance with current business and pricing conditions
  • Work within current business strategies and recognising potential opportunities in order to develop new accounts,driving to set and achieve challenging sales targets
  • Cooperate with other departments in the hotel to create an exceptional Guest experience and build strong, comprehensive sales programs
  • Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the Commercial Director and senior management to include the reporting of appointments, calls made and business lead
  • Act as a hotel ambassador and represent the hotel in various client events
  • Implement action plans related to own accounts as outlined in the sales commercial strategy
  • Conduct daily sales calls and arrange site inspection trips to hotels by corporate clients
  • Support hotels service and relationship strategy by driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience in order to develop a professional long term business relationship with them.
  • Develop strong relationships with on property front office team to ensure working in unity and always striving to achieve the same goals and build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, etc
