Purchaser - Drug StoreJob Location : UAEResponsibilities:•Develop and execute strategies for securing global private-label pharmaceutical or pharmacy-based products.•Conduct negotiations with international suppliers to ensure favorable terms.•Lead and oversee centralized purchase operations for Bin Shabib Drug Stores in-house chain of pharmacies.•Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement with business goals.•Manage relationships with suppliers, fostering collaboration and maintaining a reliable supply chain.•Negotiate contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.•Select the products having good margins and profits to make the value chains for each sourced product and take all necessary approvals to proceed.•Conduct market research and analysis to identify reliable sources for pharmaceutical products.•Obtain competitive quotes and assess market trends to inform procurement decisions.•Maintain accurate procurement records, ensuring documentation complies with regulations and company policies.•Prepare purchase orders and track inventory levels to prevent shortages.•Compliance:•Ensure procurement activities comply with local and international laws, regulations, and company policies.•Select the products according to MOH, DHA, and Dubai Municipality regulations.•Stay updated on changes in procurement regulations within the pharmaceutical industry.•Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost savings.•Implement improvements to enhance procurement efficiency.•Strive to deliver high-quality products that meet the diverse needs of clients.•Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure product quality.Job Details :•Bachelors degree in Pharmacy or Nutrition, or a related field.•Proven experience in global private-label procurement and negotiations.•Experience leading centralized purchase operations in the pharmaceutical retail sector.•Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.•In-depth knowledge of procurement regulations, market trends, and quality standards in the pharmaceutical industry.•Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.•Proficient in using procurement and inventory management software.
