Job Description

The Project Specialist is responsible for coordinating and managing various projects within the organization to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role involves defining project requirements, developing work plans, tracking progress, and ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders. Success in this position means delivering projects that meet organizational goals and stakeholder expectations efficiently and effectively. The Project Specialist plays a vital role in supporting strategic initiatives and driving operational efficiency across the organization.Responsibilities:

  1. Project Coordination: Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and involving relevant stakeholders.
  2. Task Management: Coordinate resources and ensure project delivery within time, scope, and budget.
  3. Communication: Facilitate status meetings, prepare reports, and ensure clear communication with stakeholders.
  4. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential project risks, manage changes to scope, schedule, and costs.
  5. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation and archive all project information accurately.
  6. Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks throughout the project lifecycle to ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
Qualifications:
  1. Skills: Excellent organizational, multitasking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in project management software.
  2. Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field. A certification in project management is preferred.
  3. Experience: Proven experience in project coordination or management, working with cross-functional teams and vendors.
  4. Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification is a plus.
