Driven to create unique home-grown food concepts that bring people together, the Independent Food Company is a UAE-based hospitality company with multiple concepts under it s umbrella SALT, Switch, Parker s, Somewhere and Public.We are looking for experienced Project Managers (from an F&B background) to join our team and support the ongoing construction and renovation projects across the UAE. Some of the key responsibilities: Successfully lead the full project lifecycle - planning, preparation of proposals, budgeting, scheduling, tendering, negotiations, hiring and managing project contractors and consultants as well as providing updates and reports to stakeholders Ensures all projects are being developed on schedule, on budget and in accordance with the quality expectations of the Group and the relevant Business Units Ensures the development and implementation of review processes related to space design, construction, interiors, selection of vendors and contractors, project management and cost control Maintains relationships with municipal authorities and PRO for approvals of Local authority and municipality pre and post construction permits Formulates and ensures the implementation of site project standards and guidelines as associated with the Group s brand to ensure site delivery as per expectations and guides the development of standard operating procedures for the department to ensure smooth delivery of projects within the parameters set by the Business Cost, Time and Quality Reviews latest trends and best practices related to Project/ Construction, including but not limited to materials used, process followed, execution methodologies and health & safety aspects and updates management on the same. Proactively proposes and seeks management approval for incorporating such practices within scope of projectsTo be considered for this role, you will have experience managing projects in the F&B industry from the client side. Strong communication skills are essential as is a track record in successfully delivering projects as per budget and timeline.
