Job Title:Production EngineerReports To: Works Manager.Job Overview:Managing overall production shop floor in terms of planning, scheduling, monitoring & achieving targetdates.Responsibilities and Duties:Creating daily, weekly and monthly plans for productionRecording & monitoring of man hours allocation to project on daily and monthly basisAssist in updating manufacturing workflow, line layouts, or floor plansEliminate wastage on man hours by reducing reworks, idle time and un-necessary overtimeCoordinate with other departments to facilitate production needsUtilization of existing manpower, resources and workshop floor layoutMonitor daily, weekly and monthly plans to ensure delivery / target dates for each projectsassignedPreparing production reports on daily basis against planned activitiesMonitoring and updating production plan on ERP system including daily routine data entry togenerate overall project consumption report in terms of man power, resources and materialused for each projectMonitor equipment performance to verify that production objectives are being fulfilledSchedule maintenance and repairs for equipment to guarantee the smooth running ofmanufacturing linesImprove manufacturing efficiencyTrain staff and resolve challenges in productionProvide safety leadership for the region including regular inspections and handling concernsswiftlyDevelop, and/or maintains documentation relevant to manufacturing processes, systemsoperation, product development, and other technical proceduresAssist the operators with troubleshooting (quality, mechanical, process, etc)Gather data from manufacturing lines to help in decision-making and process improvementefforts prioritizingCreate new documentation or update current documentation to appropriately representchanges in a product or processMaintain ISO and minimum required standard documentation related to manufacturing andquality control requirementsRequirements Qualifications:Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Fabrication EngineeringWorking experience of 5 - 7 yearsExperience with CAD software.Proficiency in MS Office.Proven experience in the fabrication ( sheet metal Enclosures / panels ) industry.Ability to make judgments under pressure.Great attention to detail and organized abilities.Superb analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.Strong leadership ability.Superb written and vocal communication abilities.UAE Driving license
