By investing in our peoples continued growth and learning, we challenge and change how we build together people and business.Production Engineer Role Description:Perform a technical, organizational and supervisory role in Factory related activities. Help with the efficient distribution of available resources: manpower, materials and equipment to all work stations.Role Responsibilities:

• Optimizes utilization of manpower, material and equipment at each workstation to execute plans agreed with the Sr. Production Engineer/Factory Supervisor
• Executes works as per the target fabrication schedule agreed with the Sr. Production Engineer/Factory Supervisor
• Plans daily activities and arranges with general foremen the provision of necessary resources (material, manpower, machines) to complete the activities
• Controls non-staff overtime and enhances productivity and efficiency. Demonstrates skills to minimize material wastage and idleness of manpower and equipment
• Ensures that safety policies/instructions are communicated to/adhered by the workforce and workshop image/housekeeping are in compliance with Company standards
• Interfaces/coordinates sub-contractors works to ensure compliance with specified quality, work sequence with fabrication schedule
• Initiates production reports including daily production reports, weekly/monthly progress and photos wherever applicable
• Issues material and equipment requisitions as needed, follows-up the deliveries and controls the storage work-in-progress and finished goods. Studies Fabrication drawings and Bill of material of projects
• Responsible for collecting data from workshop and making sure that entry in the system is done on time
• Plans the work and efficiently organizes the workshop lines in order to meet agreed deadlines
• Responsible for supervising and monitoring the workshop labour force included rented manpower
• Oversees quality control and safety matters on the factory, and ensures that regulations are adhered to
• Participates in project meetings with projects department to collect and disseminate information pertaining to projects
• Supervises subordinates attendance and productivity, interfaces/coordinates with sub- contractors to ensure compliance of project implementation with fabrication schedule
• Assists with the preparation of fabrication schedule, manpower and equipment allocations, and any changes there of, in coordination with fabrication staff and Project Control team
• Coordinates purchase and delivery of required materials, and inflow/outflow of store materials with Project Control and Procurement Department
• Issues Inspection Request to the QA/QC team to inspect the activities

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical or Civil)
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
