About the Role:10Product Manager, Transactions & OwnershipThe Team:Youll become a part of the Capital IQ Solutions Product Management team, responsible for the Capital IQ and Capital IQ Pro products with a focus on Transactions and Ownership. We are looking for a talented Product Manager to join our team in building and improving the end-user experience on these products by being a subject matter expert and supporting the team with roadmap initiatives.The Impact: As an Product Manager, you will partner with Product Owners/Managers to define product strategy and requirements and collaborate with stakeholders from other teams, departments, and geographies to drive initiatives forward. You will work closely with your Engineering counterparts and the Design Team to drive product and technical designs, identify technical and business dependencies, and move the product development process forward.Whats in it for you:Youll work in a high-impact role with a talented global group of developers, QAs, product managers, user experience experts as well as team members across sales and content.   • Define new product features and requirements, UX, scope, and functionality
  • Partner with internal and external partners to bring product concepts to launch
  • Obtain feedback on the product to iterate and drive improvements in future releases
  • Identify key opportunities for product improvements, develop short-term preventive or detective measures, and work with our teams to quantitatively evaluate the success and performance of new and existing features
  • Keep up to speed of the competitive landscape, industry trends, and digital innovation within the marketplace
  • Act as a product owner for a scrum team, articulating business requirements and working with engineers to build and test product enhancements
  • Review and evaluate enhancement requests from clients and help prioritize the product backlog
What Were Looking For
  • BA or BS in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of product management, data management, technology or related experience
  • Strong conceptual understanding of data, search technologies and taxonomies, web-based user interface design, and API technologies
  • Working familiarity with road-mapping and issue tracking software applications, and Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Visual Studio, and SQL
  • A team player who is comfortable working with a globally distributed team across time zones, and a solid communicator, both with technology teams and with non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, high-pressure environment
  • Motivated, self-starting, willing to take risks and challenge conventions
  • Ability to clearly articulate product requirements and their business value to technology stakeholders and development teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Product Management knowledge, preferably within the field of financial news and data or Transactions and/or Ownership specifically
  • Ability to understand and be proficient on the lifecycle of data from data collection to pipelines to front end and processes along the way
  • Ability to remain detail-oriented on in-flight projects while thinking strategically about future projects. Be able to identify key questions and make effective, timely product decisions
  • Possess the ability to work within a group, build consensus and collect and interpret stakeholder feedback
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to engage, influence and inspire partners to drive collaboration and alignment
  • Knowledge of Investment Management / Investment Banking / Capital Markets workflows and associated user segmentation within
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum or SAFe process (Experience as a Product Owner/Scrum Master of a SCRUM team a plus)
