Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager - Aftermarket to join our dynamic Engineering team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in developing and executing aftermarket strategies, with a focus on air-cooled and water chiller parts, accessories, service maintenance contracts, and after-sales technical support.Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of aftermarket products, including annual maintenance contracts, spare parts inventory, replacement components, and retrofitting tools.
  • Develop aftermarket product line goals and plans to facilitate business growth.
  • Collaborate with factories to provide technical feedback on new products and effectively address field quality and performance issues.
  • Provide technical support to the field operations team, offering guidance and assistance in resolving complex technical challenges.
  • Develop a comprehensive training strategy, including training materials and an annual plan, to ensure the technical competence of the field team. Prepare skilled Technical Trainers to execute training plans.
  • Serve as a technical advisor on large-scale Chiller projects, offering expert insights and recommendations to ensure successful project execution.
  • Prioritize customer satisfaction by ensuring that aftermarket services meet or exceed customer expectations. Monitor customer feedback, promptly address issues or concerns, and implement improvements to enhance the overall customer experience.
Key Qualifications, knowledge & skills:
  • Bachelors degree in engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in technical support or aftermarket management roles, particularly in the HVAC industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of Chiller systems, including maintenance, operations, spare parts management, and retrofitting.
  • Experience in developing and implementing training programs to enhance technical capabilities within the field team.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide timely and effective solutions.
  • Familiarity with mega-scale Chiller projects, with a track record of providing valuable technical expertise and guidance.
