• Manage the timelines and submission dates effectively
• Trade lanes analysis and development
• Manage and respond to spot quotation requests in line with customers need for FCL, LCL, Air, OOG (including Project cargo)
• Development of Pricing / Tender Management
• Effectively communicate with carriers and build relationships with key decision makers
• Coordinate, facilitate and drive winning tender and implementation processes
• Be able to acknowledge and understand company capabilities and identify improvement areas where needed

Required skills to be successful

• Experience in pricing and tender management
• Clear understanding of multiple modes and services within the transportation and logistics industry
• Well versed in EDI software such as cargowise
• Knowledge in customs regulations of UAE and Jafza

About the team This role will be reporting to the Operations Manager - Sea Freight and will collaborate with main stakeholders in line with pricing desk processes and requirements.What equips you for the role

• Bachelors Degree in Logistics, Operations Management or business related.
• At least 2 - 3 years of experience in international freight forwarding company with experience in pricing and quoting
• Should be flexible to work out of office hours as per business requirement
• Good interpersonal, communication and excellent negotiating skills
