Job Description

  • Day-to-day market risk management of the Commodities portfolios.
  • Active interaction with Commodity traders to understand their trading strategies and the market risks in their portfolios.
  • Build out market risk limit frameworks to cover new trading activities.
  • Analysis of new limit requests, new product requests and making appropriate recommendations to the Head of Risk Management.
  • Add-hoc analysis on specific trades (risk/reward analysis, reasonable worst case stress losses, etc.)
  • Monitoring of limits, discussion of the risks and follow up on any limit breaches should they occur
  • Subject matter expert on commodities market risk management and provision of advice to various stakeholders as needed
  • Active involvement in the rollout of a CTRM. This includes defining market risk requirements, setting up use cases, testing the CTRM against the use cases, etc.
