Job Description

A Marketing Intern will work with the Commercial Manager and Sales Team to assist in the implementation of the marketing plan to increase hotel brand awareness.What will I be doingAs Marketing Intern, you will work with the Commercial Manager and Sales Team to assist in the implementation of the marketing plan to increase hotel brand awareness. Specifically, a Marketing Intern will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Support creating content for hotels social media accounts and marketing channels
  • Work closely across all hotel departments, seeking proactive opportunities and planned promotions to address specific business challenges, as required
  • Support the development of promotional activities, marketing channels and the production of marketing materials for specific events
  • Manage and promote the hotel on Hilton branded websites and social media accounts
  • Work within marketing budgets by using resources effectively
  • Maintain a comprehensive media and marketing contact management system relevant to the target audiences of the Hotel
What are we looking forA Marketing Intern serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
  • Competent to use Canva, Adobe Photoshop, In Desing, illustrator or photo editing software and basic video editing software
  • Intermediate level of IT skills
  • Proven organisational and planning skills
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
  • Photography Skills
  • Previous Hotel or leisure sector experience
  • Previous Marketing experience in a similar environment
  • Relevant degree, in marketing, business development or other relevant business field, from an academic institution
