The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the companys supply chain, logistics, and transportation operations. The role involves planning, implementing, and controlling the efficient movement and storage of goods, ensuring timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with regulations.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with company goals.Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.Manage relationships with vendors, carriers, and warehouse partners.Ensure compliance with transportation and safety regulations.Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics.Oversee inventory control and ensure accurate record-keeping.Lead and supervise logistics staff and team members.Prepare reports and forecasts related to logistics activities.Resolve any issues related to transportation or delivery delays.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.Proven experience (3+ years) in logistics, supply chain management, or similar roles.Strong understanding of logistics software and inventory management systems.Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.Ability to analyze data and optimize processes.Knowledge of safety, transportation, and regulatory standards.
