Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

  • To inspect the assigned vehicle on daily basis before you gets it drive
  • To keep the laundry vehicle clean and Sanitized
  • To discuss the truck mileage services with your laundry manager before the dead line date of each service.
  • Double check the loading/unloading Soil & Fresh linen counts before leave the Al Maha to LMAA.
  • All the guest laundries should be handed over separately direct to the Al Maha linen room in charge or in house laundry.

  • A Full Time position based at Al Maha Desert Resort and Spa, The Luxury Collection.
  • Number of Direct Reports - variable
  • Titles of Direct Reports - HK manager/HK supervisor/ Laundry Attendant/Senior linen Room Attendant/ Tailor
CANDIDATE PROFILEExperience:
  • Having an experience in similar position for at least 24 months with a great Interpersonal skills and good level of Driving experience a Heavy vehicle with UAE license.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Strong Communication skills in English (verbal, listening, writing)
  • An effective Team Player in a team based environment
  • Effective time management skills.

Education or Certification
  • Good level of English essential
SPECIFIC DUTIESBalanced Scorecard Results: Implements strategies and executes activities to drive and continuously improve financial results, guest satisfaction, and human capital index and market share. Essential Functions
  • Eliminate work hazards to personnel, check on safety and fire regulation.
  • Ensure to inspect the assigned vehicle on daily basis before you gets it drive
  • Ensure to keep the laundry vehicle clean.
  • Ensure to discuss the truck mileage services with your manager before the dead line date of each service.
  • Double check the all loading/unloading Soil & Fresh linen counts before leaving from Al Maha to LMAA.
  • Coordinate with the LMAA/Al Maha both side laundries to ensure that Al Mahas daily operational linen are delivered up to the standard and received/ delivered them on time and to note the discrepancy for any missing items.
  • All the guest laundries should be handed over direct to the Al Maha linen room in charge.
  • To report guest/associates comments or complaints to the HK manager/HK supervisor
  • To carry out any other duties as required To maintain Vehicle/linen trollies used for delivery and report if any fault occurs, reports on regular basis if any fault found in your working areas and follow up on repairs
SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS
  • Ensure full liaison with other members of the team in Housekeeping / laundry / Concierge service and Linen Room
  • To attend hotel meetings, trainings as requested by the management.
  • To be active on MGS to complete your online trainings etc.
  • To support to achieve the BSA ,GSS department target scores
