Job Description

Our client is one of the leading companies in the food service distribution domain, specializing in the categories of biscuits and snacks and having a product range of 40+ premium international brands. With over 45 years in the business, they currently operate across multiple distribution offices in the Middle East. They are currently looking to hire an HR Manager, who will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Human Resources department, including the complete employee lifecycle and core HR activities. This role combines strategic planning with operational and administrative tasks in compliance with labour laws and company HR policies. The role also serves as a trusted internal resource, advocating for best practices in people management and enforcing company policies.Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports the Company leadership team to understand the business needs by developing and implementing Human Resources programs and strategies which align to business priorities.
  • Prepares and maintain job descriptions for all roles as per the organisation chart.
  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified candidates for open positions; collaborate with departmental managers as per the recruitment policy.
  • Establishes and administers companys onboarding and orientation process for all new joiners to ensure seamless integration into the business.
  • Maintains compliance with UAE labour laws, executive regulations, company policies at all times.
  • Responds to employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and department managers, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.

  • Leads, guides and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, investigations and terminations as per labour laws and company disciplinary policies and procedures.
  • Regularly updating HR and employee records in an accurate, consistent and confidential manner.
  • Advises the management on improvements to be made in budgets and expenses, ensuring assets and team sizes are aligned as per the same.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to performance and talent management, recognition, training and development.
  • Carries out ongoing salary benchmarking to ensure competitiveness in the market.
  • Liaises with PRO for companys legal requirements such as Visa & Work permits, Establishment Card and company document to ensure they are renewed and valid at all times.
  • Manages the allocation of annual staff benefits including flights home, and any other negotiated contractual inclusions.
  • Development and implementation of strategies for enhancing team wellness, staff retention and other components that allow the business to stay as competitive as possible.
  • Conducts regular analysis of current internal systems, forms and protocols to identity opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, or related field required.
  • HR Certification is highly desired.
  • 5 to 7 years of proven HR experience with at least 2 years in managing the HR function.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel
  • Knowledge in document Management tools.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations and HR best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to details
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Leadership and strategy development skills in order to work effectively in a position of authority
