JOB DESCRIPTIONDefine the long-term vision, goals, and roadmap for the e-commerce platform services in alignment with business objectives and industry trends.Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate the digital platform strategy with overall company strategies.Design and architect a scalable, flexible, and robust platform that accommodates the unique needs of each brand while maintaining a unified infrastructureIdentify suitable technology stacks, tools, and methodologies to ensure the efficiency, security, and performance of the platformRecruit, mentor, and lead a multidisciplinary team of developers, engineers, designers, and product managersFoster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the technology teamsOversee the end-to-end development of platform services, including website creation, content management, inventory management, payment gateways, and moreDrive the creation of reusable components and modules to expedite the website development processWork closely with brand representatives to understand their specific requirements, ensuring the platform meets their individual needs while adhering to a standardized frameworkMaintain the platforms technical excellence, ensuring high performance, security, and scalabilityDevelop project plans, allocate resources, and manage project timelines to deliver platform updates and new features on scheduleMonitor and report on project status to stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommended solutionsCoordinate with external vendors and partners when necessary to leverage specialized expertiseBachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Masters degree is a plusProven track record of at least 8-10 years in technology leadership roles, preferably in e-commerce or digital platformsStrong experience in architecting and developing scalable e-commerce platforms, utilizing modern technologies and frameworksExcellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersDeep understanding of UX/UI principles and a customer-centric mindset
