This Director role entails responsibility for developing and executing the business strategy for CCB in UAE with responsibility for the client P&L of the business in order to ensure sustainable and predictable earnings and excellent client experience. All of this must be achieved within a sound control environment in which the business operates.Job Background / Context:Citi Commercial Banking targets mid-sized corporate segment (client annual revenue of :$50MM - $3BN) focused on a variety of growth industries with international banking needs. This includes the growing Digital segment focused on disruptor companies in the tech space like E-Commerce, Software, FinTechs, etc.A good understanding of the industry, direct competitors products and services, is necessary in order to contribute to the commercial objectives of the business. Excellent communication skills required to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication/negotiation may be necessary. A key element of this position is to work in close partnership with product groups, operations, and risk management at all levels (country, regional and global) to continue to grow the CCB business in UAE.Key Responsibilities
