They are dedicated to the acquisition, development and overall investment management of renewable energy assets in emerging markets.   • Provide leadership, aligning legal and compliance strategies with the organisations overall goals and objectives
  • Build and develop a high-performing legal and compliance team, providing guidance, mentorship, and growth opportunities
  • Conduct due diligence investigations and prepare legal opinions and reports regarding transactional matters
  • Participate in negotiations and assist in structuring and executing corporate transactions
  • Provide legal work required pre-Investment Committee, including term sheets, exclusivity agreements, and letters of interest
  • Stay up to date with changes in corporate laws and regulations and assess their impact on the organization
  • Develop and implement compliance programs to ensure adherence to applicable legal requirements
  • Review and implement risk management strategies and ensure compliance with investment policies
Who we are looking for
  • Law degree and common law qualified
  • Experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
  • Proven ability to conduct due diligence investigations and prepare legal opinions and reports
  • Familiarity with Lux CSSF regulatory requirements is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
