The Head of Kindergarten is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, curriculum implementation, staff management, and overall development of the kindergarten. The role ensures a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes early childhood learning and development.Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and monitor age-appropriate curricula aligned with educational standards.Lead and supervise teachers and support staff to ensure quality teaching and learning.Create a welcoming and safe environment for children, staff, and visitors.Coordinate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and address concerns.Manage administrative tasks including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.Organize regular training and development programs for staff.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.Promote a positive, inclusive, and enriching environment that supports children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.Monitor and evaluate staff performance and conduct appraisals.Organize events, activities, and parent engagement programs.Qualifications & Skills:Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration, or related field (Masters preferred).Valid certification or licensure in early childhood education.Proven experience in managing a kindergarten or preschool.Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to handle administrative and educational responsibilities effectively.Passion for early childhood development and education.Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
