Job Description

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization by managing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. This role requires ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to support decision-making. Success in this position involves maintaining financial stability, optimizing financial performance, and contributing to the companys long-term financial strategy. The Finance Manager is a critical part of the leadership team, influencing financial direction and ensuring the organizations fiscal integrity.Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Planning and Analysis:
  • Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  1. Budget Management:
  • Oversee the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
  • Ensure expenditures are within budget and identify areas for cost savings.
  1. Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  1. Cash Flow Management:
  • Manage cash flow to ensure the organization has adequate funds for operations.
  • Optimize working capital and investment strategies.
  1. Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks.
  1. Team Leadership:
  • Supervise and mentor finance staff.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the finance team.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
Qualifications:
  1. Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  1. Education:
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A masters degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.
  1. Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role.
  • Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a finance team.
  1. Certifications:
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification is highly desirable.
