Job Description

The CompanyRobert Half are working exclusively with European Healthcare business to recruit a Financial Manager.The RoleReporting directly into the Chief Financial Officer based in Europe you will be responsible for all Finance across the region. Operationally you will report into the local General Manager of the region.

  • Preparation of sales tax (pre)returns, annual financial statements or other tax/ regulatory filings
  • Support in the preparation of the consolidated financial statements
  • Management accounting and controlling tasks
  • Assumption of administrative tasks, invoice control, control of journal entries and other operational day to day tasks/ responsibilities
  • Evaluation of/ commenting on financial and fiscal documents for accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations/ laws
  • Engagement to continuous knowledge development regarding sectors rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards
The Candidate
  • Multiyear experience as Senior Accountant/ Senior Auditor/ Internal Auditor - best in a large audit firm or multiyear experience as Finance Manager in a non-audit industry
  • Proficiency in financial statements, accounting, management accounting, controlling, taxes and other relevant filings
  • Degree in accounting or finance
  • Ideally proficiency in transfer pricing regulation
  • Willingness to assume responsibility and to travel globally
  • Versatile and wide-ranging willingness to work hard
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Very good expertise in the use of MS Office products - especially Excel
  • Proficiency in accounting software and databases - we use Microsoft Dynamics AX
  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports
  • Proven knowledge of local accounting standards, auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations
  • High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
Salary and Benefits20,000 - 24,000 AED per month
