Job Description

Our client, a well-known manufacturing company is currently looking for aFabrication Manager with well-versed experience in joinery /steel fit-outs. For this, you should possess an excellent ability to understand technical drawings & have exceptional technical and troubleshooting abilities. Prior experience as in Steel/Joinery Fabrication in the Productionindustry will be an advantage. This role will be based in their Industrial area in Sharjah. Other responsibilities will include:

  • Understanding the clients requirements and specifications.
  • Managing the team of fabricators & detailers, with supervision.
  • Developing prototype if needed
  • Cutting and bending metal objects.
  • Welding metals components and materials.
  • Developing layouts and design plans.
  • Preparing a sequence of operations to accomplish the task.
  • Setting up the welding machines and other necessary equipment for the task.
  • Coordinating with the Production Assembly team.
  • Preparing reports of the work completed.
  • Performing quality control checks on the finished product.
  • Adhering to the companys safety standards
Requirements
  • Work experience as a Steel/ Metal Fabricator or a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with Stainless steel is required
  • Knowledge on the furniture industry is an added advantage
  • Ability to work for long periods of time if required.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and instructions.
  • Hardworking and detail-oriented individual.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to solve complex problems efficiently.
