Job Description

Job Purpose

  • To be able to support automatic provisioning of infrastructure resources for the business, thereby saving in provisioning time taken.
  • To be able to increase productivity by performing automation tasks.
  • Provide support in managing applications like Hybrid Cloud Management and Nagios and make sure the availability of same 24/7.
  • Awareness of infrastructure components and performing the DR drill failover and failback using HPOO application automation.
Key accountabilities
  • Environment availability 24/7.
  • Monitoring & Administration of Nagios.
  • Troubleshoot various issues as and when reported by the Ericson L1 team, like SNMP trap delayed or alerts not being reported in dashboard.
  • Configuring new alerts or customized alerts by writing scripts.
  • Linux skills and networking skills.
  • Troubleshoot or debug the HPOO workflows when the issue is encountered.
  • HPOO components knowledge and automation or scripting knowledge, bash, python, type script, java script etc.
  • Linux and Windows servers knowledge.
Troubleshooting issues faced in the end points which are integrated with HCM cloud like below,
  1. VMware vSphere
  2. Cisco ACI
  3. IBM / EMC Storage
  4. Networking IPAM Subnetting
  5. Security Archer
  6. Database Services Oracle and MSSQL
  7. UCMDB
  8. Linux / Windows Servers
  9. Active Directory / LDAP
Minimum experience:
  • More than 3 years of experience in Hybrid cloud, mainly in integration and architecture design VMware or HCM
  • Knowledge on communication protocols - TCP, UDP, SMTP, SNMP
Infrastructure knowledge on below components or similar or hands-on at least a yearMinimum education:
  • Bachelor of Engineering Computer Science / BSc. In Computers / MSc Computers
Knowledge and skills:
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good Ability for follow-up
  • High skills as Team player
  • Processes Knowledge for Roaming Product handling.
