As the Door Manager, you will be the first and last point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. Your role involves managing guest flow, overseeing reservations, coordinating with the host team, and ensuring a warm, professional, and seamless welcome for every visitor.Responsibilities:Greet and welcome guests with a professional and engaging attitude.Manage reservations and walk-ins efficiently, ensuring minimal wait times.Handle VIP and special guest requests with a personalized approach.Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.Lead and train the host/hostess team to maintain high service standards.Coordinate with the restaurant floor team to ensure smooth seating operations.Communicate guest preferences and special occasions to service teams.Maintain an organized and efficient entrance area.Ensure accurate guest counts and table tracking using the reservation system.Enforce restaurant policies regarding entry, reservations, and dress codes.Monitor the entryway to ensure guest safety and manage crowd control.Work with security personnel to address any disruptions.Qualifications:Bachelor?s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Previous experience in a similar role within a high-end restaurant, lounge, or hospitality setting.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to remain composed under pressure and manage high guest volumes.Experience with reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable, Resy, SevenRooms) is a plus.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
