Job Description

IQAF is looking for an experienced and motivated Credit Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing credit data and financial statements of customers to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit. Additionally, they will be expected to make sound recommendations to upper management regarding approval of credit.Job Duties

  • Examines customer bank and financial statements to assess credit worthiness and risk level.
  • Utilizes automated credit systems to evaluate customer financial data.
  • Establishes credit ceilings for customers and monitor them closely for changes in risk levels.
  • Identifies potential credit problems and suggests solutions to avoid future default.
  • Reviews customer credit files and credit awards for accuracy and completeness.
  • Investigates customer payment histories and problems to determine risk of default on future payments.
  • Mediates disputes between customers and IIQAF sales teams on more complex accounts.
  • Communicates with customers to resolve or settle any overdue payments.
  • Interprets customer credit ratings, credit trends, creditworthiness of customers industry and recommend appropriate credit levels.
Requirements
  • A minimum of three years related experience in credit and accounts receivable.
  • Proficient with common business-related software applications, such as spreadsheets, word processors, and databases.
  • Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of lending regulations and federal laws associated with lending.
