Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Consultant/Specialist Hepatologist to join our team.As a Consultant/Specialist Hepatologist at SearchPlus HR, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating diseases and conditions related to the liver. Your expertise in hepatology will be instrumental in providing specialized care to our clients and improving their liver health.Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients medical history, symptoms, and perform thorough hepatological examinations
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as liver function tests, imaging studies, and liver biopsies
  • Diagnose and treat various liver conditions, including viral hepatitis, alcoholic liver disease, and fatty liver disease
  • Develop individualized treatment plans for each patient, including medication management and liver transplantation referrals, if necessary
  • Monitor and manage complications associated with liver disease, such as cirrhosis and hepatic encephalopathy
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements and research in the field of hepatology through continuous learning and professional development
Requirements
  • Medical degree and valid license to practice as a Consultant/Specialist Hepatologist
  • Proven experience in diagnosing and treating various liver conditions
  • Strong knowledge of hepatology principles, practices, and treatment options
  • Expertise in interpreting diagnostic tests, such as liver function tests and imaging studies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues
  • Detail-oriented mindset and ability to prioritize and manage multiple cases simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to address complex hepatological issues
