Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Construction Supervisor to join our team at IIQAF. Working closely with the Construction Manager and the rest of the construction team, the Construction Supervisor will be responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising all construction activities onsite.Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive construction plans and schedules, and monitor compaction levels, equipment utilization and material usage
  • Oversee and plan the day to day operations of construction and inspection activities
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of the construction team
  • Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed
  • Ensure all project components are constructed according to approved plans and within the budget
  • Ensure all materials are up to quality standards
  • Prepare weekly, monthly and annual project reports
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Resolve disputes between contractors and/or clients
  • Monitor the work of contractors to make sure the work is done correctly and on time
  • Collaborate closely with the Construction Manager
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience in a construction site supervisor role
  • Extensive knowledge of construction management techniques and methods
  • Excellent knowledge of building materials, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
  • Proficient in MS Office and construction management software solutions
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Safety-conscious and detail-oriented
