We hope you join us on this exciting journey!We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Middle East team as Commercial Director reporting to the Managing Director. This full-time and permanent position is based in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, has overall responsibility for the drive and delivery of the Middle East new new clients in the UAE domestic market and outbound execution centres through the achievement of the growth targets. Support acquisitions, restructuring and operational transformation by introducing Vistra products and services to this vertical. Work closely with Vistra colleagues to present and implement customized solutions to its clients. Maintain and develop global relationships with Middle East focussed intermediaries seeking new business opportunities.We are a fast paced, entrepreneurial business that has exciting plans in 2023 under the leadership of our new CEO Simon Webster. We are establishing a market leading global payroll proposition and this role offers excellent career progression opportunities.The Commercial Director will be responsible for the promotion, awareness and sale of company services in the assigned region through both direct sales and partnering opportunities. This highly professional, seasoned person must possess excellent communication skills, great contacts, a strong work ethic and the drive to help us scale our business. The role is aligned with sales goals that support the growth goals of the Middle East. It is part of a broader Sales and Client Service team. The individual will be measured on his/her ability to execute against a quarterly business plan developed by sales leadership.Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and conduct exploratory meetings with potential clients to gain insights on their investment plans and provide detailed insights on how the company can meet the customers needs. Identify and overcome concerns and objections. Build and manage client relationships on an ongoing basis.
  • Maintain and grow strong relationships with key intermediaries; UAE regulators, law firms, accounting and business consulting firms.
  • Drive the firms overall growth plans in the region by working closely with senior management to identify new industry verticals and business development opportunities. Attend events, conferences and round-tables to continue building and growing the company brand.
  • Build a well-balanced pipeline of opportunities.
  • Close opportunities in region generated by Marketing, Partner Relations, and Direct Sales lead generation efforts.
  • Generate proposals and provide related pricing materials for potential clients. Follow up on inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Lead, manage and close the full sales cycle.
  • Relay the value proposition of firms unique solutions and support services to new and existing clients.
  • Determine scope of initial engagement and work closely with firms Services team to ensure delivery of accurate and timely proposal(s).
  • Ensure customer engagements are successful via due diligence in the post-sales process.
  • Accurately forecast on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis by account.
  • Focus on long-term revenue growth in the region.
  • Assist with event hosting and other company and/or customer events.
  • Provide ongoing input to management regarding customer needs, incentives and go-to-market traction.
  • Develop strategic reference accounts.
  • Travel as required to partner locations within the region.
  • Gain proficiency in firms internal processes and procedures.
  • Engage in other miscellaneous initiatives as they arise (a must with our fast-growing firm).
Attributes/ Technical Skills:
  • International experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of accounting and/or international finance fundamentals.
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter interested in dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Great personality and personal integrity.
  • MS Office skills, experience with Salesforce.com a plus.
Relevant Experience:
  • Strong understanding of the Middle East regulations, corporate and private equity network, and GCC Sovereign Wealth Funds
  • 10+ years experience working as a business development or sales professional in a rapidly growing company.
  • Should have a network of pre-existing relationships directly with PE firms as well as the broader ecosystem including intermediaries and consultants; UAE regulators, law firms, accounting and business consulting firms.
  • Experience building and managing key partner relationships.
  • Experience in working in consulting environment with a range of company sizes.
  • Proven overachiever with a track record of individual sales success.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet sales quotas.
Education and Professional Qualification:
  • College degree required BA or BS in a business discipline preferred.
