Main Responsibilities:Diagnoses causes of problems and/or failures in Chillers, and heating/air conditioning systems for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or systems repair and/or replacement needs.Install, maintain, and repair industrial chillers according to manufacturer’s specifications and local codesFabricates equipment parts for the purpose of meeting specialty needs and/or replacing unavailable parts.Perform regular maintenance on all assigned equipment, including but not limited to oil changes, filter changes, belt replacements, and general cleaning, Respond to emergency service calls in a timely manner, troubleshooting problems and making necessary repairConduct routine maintenance inspections on air conditioning chillers to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. Tasks may include cleaning coils, replacing filters, checking refrigerant levels, lubricating moving parts, and calibrating controls.Installs/Replacement of parts of chillers and air conditioning equipment and systems for the purpose of providing enhanced and/or upgraded capabilitiesMonitoring the operation of chillers and cooling towers to ensure that they are operating within safe limitsPerforms routine and preventive maintenance as needed for the purpose of ensuring the ongoing functioning of chillers and HVAC systemsRepairs Chillers and air conditioning systems and/or components (e.g. pumps, motors, air handlers, fan coils, Split, DX, chillers, piping, control devices water, and refrigerant side, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring a comfortable work environment.Requests equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintaining inventory and ensuring the availability of items required to complete the necessary installation and/or repair.Responds to emergency situations during or after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concernsPrepares written materials (e.g. repair status, activity logs, operational log, monitoring chiller, Plants, pumps, PPM/CM reports, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities and/or conveying informationAssume other duties as may be assigned by your Line Manager.Skills and Qualifications Required:At least a vocational diploma/ ITI in reputed institutionTechnical training in HVAC, or OEM training certificate for chillersAbility to communicate and interact effectively with various levels of staffShould possess minimum of 3 years GCC experienceShould posses minimum of 5 years FM industry experienceHolding HSE certifications are an advantageShould be hands on in electrical and HVAC systems troubleshooting
