Job Description

IIQAF is looking for a highly organized and compassionate Child Care Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate should have the ability to provide child care services to a diverse population of children with varying cultural backgrounds. The Child Care Worker should also be able to work in a professional manner with other team members and be able to handle a variety of programs and activities.Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and plan daily activities for children
  • Transport children to and from school, events, activities and other locations in a safe manner.
  • Supervise and provide assistance to children as needed.
  • Encourage children to take part in activities and learn new skills.
  • Monitor childrens behaviors and provide appropriate guidance.
  • Facilitate the development of relationships between children.
  • Ensure the safety and health of children at all times.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience as a child care worker, child protection worker or similar role.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with children and adults.
  • Ability to handle crisis or emergency situations in a calm and professional manner.
  • First Aid Certification or equivalent is preferred.
