Job Description

Group CFO Banking/Fintech/Ecommerce (Dubai-Bishkek)We require a strategic and entrepreneurial finance executive with banking experience, with extensive experience in the fintech start-up and scale-up world. The Chief Financial Officer will play a key role in fund raising for growth, investor relations, and business planning, as well as lead the finance team, creating a financial operating model that is robust, scalable, and designed to support organic and inorganic growth.Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounting and financial operations to ensure financial transparency, accurate and timely preparation of financial statements
• Develop and implement financial strategies that support growth in revenue and profit, provide strategic insight to the board, and a high-level of accounting hygiene
• Work closely with the CEO on fund-raising plans, financial communications, investor relations, capital structure, due diligence, and negotiations
• Identify and evaluate potential inorganic growth opportunities and support the execution of M&A transactions designed to deliver real-terms value to the business
• Conduct risk management through analysis of the company liabilities & investments and evaluate & manage capital structure
• Manage the consolidation exercise and ensure that all consolidated financial statements are prepared in accordance with both local and IFRS standards
• Identify and mitigate financial risks, coordinate the audit process, ensure compliance with all financial regulations and laws, liaising and negotiating with investors, suppliers, and banks
• Build and maintain relationships with the companys stakeholders, potential partners including banks, financial institutions, advisory firms, investors and relevant government entities
• Assess pricing strategies, cost strategies and profitability analysis to support business development efforts
• Continuously monitor and improve financial processes and systems, providing leadership, direction, and management of the finance function

• Bachelors or masters degree in accounting, finance, or similar field from a leading university.
• An MBA, CMA, CPA or CFA qualification is highly preferable
• 15+ years of experience in finance and accounting with proven experience as a CFO within fintech/banking/ecommerce. With emphasis on banking
• Proven track record of successful fund raising and experience in investor relations and M&A, a proven track record of working within B2B PE backed business
• Fund raising experience post series b & C, previous experience of leading a business through a trade sale or IPO exit desirable
• Working knowledge of Open Banking and PSD2 is beneficial but not mandatory, as in any understanding of Open Banking regulations around the world
• Extensive network and strong knowledge of the financial market and business land scape with the ability to build partnership
• Listing experience and working with International Banks beneficial
