The Business Growth and Retention team at Tradeling owns two main activities: (1) Acquisition and (2) Retention. Were seeking a seasoned telesales, customer service/retention and sales professional whos looking to apply their skills to the team and excel at engaging with prospects, building relationships and pitching Tradeling products to meet sales targets.About TradelingTradeling is MENAs leading and most extensive B2B marketplace dedicated to streamlining the purchasing process for both buyers and sellers. We embrace the challenge to innovate on behalf of our customers and vendors connecting global and regional suppliers to MENA-based demand.Your RoleAs a Business Growth And Retention Executive, You Will Mostly Engage With Our Customers Through Over-the-phone Conversations And Focus On The Following Activities

  • Proactively prospecting and generating leads through cold calling, lead lists, referrals, and other sources to identify potential customers
  • Conducting outbound calls to engage with prospects, introduce products, and qualify leads based on their needs and buying potential
  • Delivering compelling sales pitches to communicate product features, benefits, and value propositions effectively to prospects, highlighting how they address customer pain points and fulfill needs
  • Utilizing CRM systems to maintain accurate records of customer interactions, update lead status, track sales activities, and manage follow-up tasks
  • Addressing customer objections, concerns, and providing them with relevant information to overcome objections and move closer to a purchase decision
  • Staying updated on product features, pricing, and promotions to provide accurate information and advice to customers during sales conversations
  • Providing feedback to the sales team and management regarding customer responses, market trends, and competitor activities to optimize performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Focusing on delivering exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries promptly, resolving issues effectively, and building long-term relationships to maximize customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Who we look forQualificationsThis is a blended customer service and sales role and we need driven and motivated individuals who take pride in being ambassadors for the Tradeling brand. We need someone who has strong communication skills and a genuine desire to delight our customers while staying focused and motivated to achieve the KPIs and metrics that measure their success. The ideal candidate must have the following qualifications and skills:
  • 3+ years of experience working in a sales-focused environment while also hitting targets related to customer satisfaction
  • Proficiency in various sales techniques such as cold calling, upselling, and cross-selling.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to record interactions, track leads, and manage customer data
  • Ability to negotiate terms, prices, and contracts to close deals and maximize sales opportunities
  • Competence in using basic computer applications such as email, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Excel software
  • Capacity to manage time effectively to prioritize tasks, follow up with leads, and meet sales quotas
  • Active listening skills to understand customer needs and tailor sales pitches accordingly
  • Ability to handle rejection and persistently pursue sales goals despite challenges or setbacks
  • Knowledge of effective closing techniques to seal deals and achieve sales targets
  • Basic understanding of sales metrics and the ability to analyze data to identify trends and optimize sales strategies
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to explain product features, answer customer queries, and build rapport over the phone
  • Flexibility to adapt to different customer personalities, sales situations, and changing business environments
  • Initiative to set personal sales targets, stay motivated, and continuously improve sales performance
  • Arabic language skills would be an plus
