Job Description

Summary:This person would also serve as the Senior Executive Officer (SEO), you will be a key leader responsible for driving the overall success of the organization. Leveraging your deep understanding of financial markets and DFSA regulations, you will provide guidance to the team, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements. In this multifaceted role, you will be the primary driver of business development within our DFSA regulated entity. Simultaneously, you will serve as the representative of the brokerage towards regulatory authorities, fostering strong relationships and transparent communication.Responsibilities:Business Development:

  • Identify potential business opportunities, conduct market research, and assess the competitive landscape to position the brokerage as a leading financial services provider.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design and promote innovative financial products and services that meet the needs of clients and comply with DFSA regulations.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling relevant financial products and services to clients.
  • Engage in negotiations with potential clients and facilitate the sale of products
Regulatory Representation:
  • Act as the official representative of the brokerage in communications with regulatory authorities, including the DFSA.
  • Ensure all interactions with regulators are transparent, timely, and in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
Compliance and Governance:
  • Uphold the highest standards of compliance with DFSA regulations, industry best practices, and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to ensure ongoing adherence to regulatory requirements and reporting obligations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in finance, business, or a related field advanced degrees or relevant professional certifications are a plus.
  • Extensive experience in the financial services industry, with a solid understanding of financial markets and DFSA regulatory framework (DFSA approved person).
  • Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to represent the brokerage effectively to regulators and clients.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and pursue business opportunities while ensuring compliance.
  • Leadership qualities, motivating the team towards shared goals and fostering a positive work environment.
  • High ethical standards, integrity, and a commitment to regulatory compliance and corporate governance.
