Job Description

we are seeking an Assistant Foreman to join our team and help manage our construction projects. As the Assistant Foreman, you will oversee our complex construction projects from preparation to completion with professionalism and safety in mind. You will be working closely with the Foreman and Supervisors to ensure that projects are finished on time and on budget.Responsibilities

  • Participate in daily safety tailgates
  • Follow safety and construction regulations
  • Communicate daily construction updates to Foreman and Supervisors
  • Check on job sites to ensure quality of work is being met
  • Work closely with the Foreman and Supervisors to ensure project specifications are met
  • Assist Foreman and Supervisors in tasks including scheduling, paperwork, budgeting, and ordering
  • Cooperate with the Foreman and Supervisors to ensure coordination with other stakeholders
  • Monitor projects to ensure they are completed on time and on budget
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills and promote a safe working environment
Qualifications
  • 1 years of experience in construction or a related field
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
  • Ability to operate light machinery and some hand tools
  • Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift and move 50 pounds
