In keeping with our values, we encourage a diverse workplace built on respect and fairness.The PositionWe are seeking a proactive individual to join our Middle East team as an Analyst, based in Dubai. As a part of our Origination bid team you will assist with the structuring of infrastructure projects and project financing, both debt and equity, that position Plenary as a major participant in the project finance and infrastructure development market across the Middle East. More specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • Working as a member of the Origination team on the structuring, identification and origination of suitable project financing transactions
  • Undertaking the financial modelling of transactions
  • Supporting the negotiation of complex financial structuring terms for infrastructure transactions
  • Managing and supporting transactions through the research, due diligence, structuring, credit and documentation stages
  • Liaising with financial institutions and external service providers to maintain strong working relationships
  • Promoting and marketing Plenary Group as a major participant in the project finance market
  • Building strong networks and close working relationships within the project finance industry
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of developments in project finance and ongoing changes to the regulatory environment
About YouThe ideal candidate will demonstrate resilience and commitment to role and be able to demonstrate commercial acumen and an understanding of the project finance process from end-to-end
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a financial, commercial, engineering or quantitative discipline
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in a financial, legal, commercial, engineering or quantitative discipline
  • Outstanding academic results
  • A clear understanding of general accounting and taxation principles
  • Interest in infrastructure development demonstrated through involvement in or exposure to pertinent infrastructure projects
  • Experience with interpreting complex project and corporate financials
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel ability and financial modelling skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial products and project finance structuring fundamentals
  • Strong understanding of legal documentation and project finance contractual structures
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; and
  • Initiative, enthusiasm, drive and commitment.
