Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced Federated Model (BIM) Manager to lead and manage Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for our projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 12 years of experience in BIM management, with a strong background in federated model management. Experience with tramway projects is a plus. This role requires expertise in overseeing the integration of multidisciplinary BIM models, ensuring effective collaboration, and enhancing project outcomes through advanced modeling techniques.Key Responsibilities:

  1. BIM Strategy and Management:
  • Develop and implement BIM strategies and workflows tailored to project needs and organizational objectives.
  • Oversee the creation, management, and coordination of federated BIM models up to LOD 350 across various disciplines.
Model Coordination and Integration:
  • Manage the integration of multidisciplinary BIM models, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all project models.
  • Facilitate model coordination meetings and resolve any conflicts or issues identified during the coordination process.
Project Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors as well as the Client, to ensure effective use of BIM tools and processes.
  • Provide guidance and support on BIM standards, protocols, and best practices to all project stakeholders.
Quality Control and Assurance:
  • Implement quality control procedures to ensure BIM models meet project requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of BIM models to maintain data integrity and accuracy.
Software and Tools Management:
  • Oversee the selection, implementation, and management of BIM software and tools.
  • Ensure that all team members are proficient in using BIM software and address any technical issues that arise.
Training and Support:
  • Provide training and support to project teams on BIM processes, tools, and best practices.
  • Develop and deliver workshops and training sessions to enhance BIM capabilities within the organization.
Reporting and Documentation:
  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation related to BIM processes, model revisions, and project status.
  • Generate and present regular reports on BIM performance, issues, and progress to senior management.
Innovation and Improvement:
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in BIM technology and methodologies.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions to enhance BIM workflows.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., BIM Manager Certification) are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 12 years of experience in BIM management, with a proven track record in managing federated models and multi-disciplinary projects. Experience with tramway projects is desirable.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in federated model management, clash detection, and model coordination. Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.
