HV Electrical Engineer ? ADDC ApprovedMaintenance Experience in Substation and Generator (Upto 1500kVA)Job Location ? UAE (Off shore)Salary ? AED 12000 - 17000Job Requirements:? Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering? 5 years of UAE experience as an Electrical Engineer with large infrastructure projects.? Must have Industrial electrical & controls background within power generation, oil & gas, mining, energy sectors? Must have experience with Generator control / solar PV and energy storage / hybrid power plant control systems? Must have Operation &Maintenance experience in both generating and distribution system.? In-depth knowledge of local regulations and authority requirements, such as DEWA, SEWA, FEWA, ADDC etc.? Must have experience with power utility protection schemes, execution, testing and commissioning of HV substations.? Must have experience reviewing protective relaying settings for protection and monitoring of major power equipment, Power Transformers, Transmission Lines, EHV/MV/LV Cable, DC systems and aux equipment? Hands on and proficiency in testing and commissioning of Protection devices, Switchgear, Transformers, etc? Advanced level proficiency with all MS Office products and other industry-standard software and IT platforms? Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.Job Responsibilities:? Analyse constraints and risks associated with the formulation of contracts.? Analyse the impact of emergency responses and safety procedures? Conduct operations, maintenance and expansion of the Power Quality Monitoring System.? Create risk assessment measures for work carried out at site.? Lead in preventive and corrective maintenance works on equipment, auxiliaries, cables, energy storage or systems in accordance with schedule and maintenance procedures. ? Lead in the daily operations of the Distribution Control Centre, Electricity Service Centre or Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA) system. ? Lead installation, commissioning and maintenance on Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA) system.? Responsible to Receive and monitor Permits-To-Work (PTW) procedures.? Plan across Generator and associated equipment?s fault repair work for Operations and Maintenance.
