JOB SUMMARYThis position is responsible for the design and delivery of Language (Interpreter) Services training courses and monitor performance of job competency assessments for contracted caregivers within the Language Service and reports to the Manager, Patient Services. He/she is also responsible to conduct the Interpreter Supervisor job responsibilities on the days when not conducting training functions.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES?Trains front-line and supervisory level Language Services Interpreters in international ?best practices? and related Language Services technical skills and competencies.?Analyzes training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs.?Organizes training manuals, multimedia visual aids and other educational materials.?Works to identify appropriate training needs and acts as a facilitator for large training venues.?Conducts training sessions in both large and small group settings.?Use audiovisual aids, computers, and teaching applications?Develops testing and evaluation procedures and maintain training records.?Determines data elements necessary for training and maintains, updates training attendance data on an ongoing basis and make it available for audits etc.?Facilitates onboarding, badging, orientation, uniforms, and visa, security, and medical fitness verifications for staff.?Performs other duties as assigned.?To perform any other routine duties requested by his/her superiors out of normal routine, but within the scope of work.?or Interpreter Supervisor job description please refer separate JD.
