We are looking for Raw Material Specialist for UAE2. Job PurposeTo ensure continued legal compliance in the selection of raw materials and packaging products. To be the technical expert on raw materials and packaging specifications for Mai Dubai. To liaise with suppliers and procurement to ensure availability of optimal quality of material and service through constant review of approved supplier list. To analyze data to identify opportunities to further improve finished products quality and shelf appeal to the consumer. Support all sustainability initiatives? without compromising on product QualityResponsibility and Duties:Design and action the sampling plan for raw material product release based risk assessment and criticality to the business. Check artworks for legal requirements and print quality. Oversee material phase in and phase out as required.Monitor and adopt the assurance of FIFO policy for the raw and packaging materials process Internal and external (Suppliers) points.Maintain data base for all supplier evaluations, product specifications, COA, Food safety declarations.Visit potential and existing external suppliers (raw material and packaging material) as required, conduct evaluation, audit, and raise constructive feedback for their continual improvementResponsible for raising and communicating the CAR of Nonconforming Products to purchase and taking necessary actions for the corrective actions for the internal and external issues related to raw and packaging material. Oversee efficient and effective management NCR management from product hold, investigation, corrective and preventative actions.Review Quarantine product to ensure it is swiftly dealt with to avoid accumulation of defective stockOversee new product trials in coordination with procurement and operations. Be fully aware from documentation evaluation, line trial, product release and market feedbackMake sure the team follow the workplace safety and health instructions and proceduresEnsure any injury, illness, unsafe acts or conditions are reported and inspected as required
