Job Summary: Guarantees efficient plant operation through direct supervision of machinery and equipment maintenance and control, setting-up preventive and calibration maintenance schedules, work order monitoring, coordination with other departments and key plant personnel, and accurate reporting of results.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:1 Initiates, prepares and updates machineries and equipment maintenance schedules on a regular basis.2 Coordinates with other departments/ key production personnel regarding specific maintenance requirements; accepts and assigns work orders to appropriate personnel; and checks and validates work accomplishments.3 Supervises and monitors maintenance and repair works, and provides work accomplishments update/ progress report to Manufacturing Manager and other key officers. 4 Validates, recommends and discusses with Manufacturing Manager and other concerned parties load capacity proposals, cabling designs and device capacity estimates for specific machines.5 Coordinates and supervises new equipment installations, assembly and commissioning; disassembly, transfer and/or disposal of outdated and non-functional equipment (scrap).6 Relays to and coordinates with external service providers all maintenance and repair works beyond existing resources and capabilities of the company.7 Carries out studies aimed at maximizing efficiency and production performance by installing alternative equipment/ machines and/ or modification of existing equipment.8 Ensures that proper maintenance documentation is adhered to, and validates and prepares accomplishment and progress reports for Management review.9 Periodically reviews and appraises performance of maintenance personnel and makes recommendations pertaining to skills enhancement and career advancement.10 Performs other related tasks as mandated by the Immediate Supervisor and Top Management.
