JOB SUMMARYThis position is responsible for providing comprehensive patient transport dispatch functions to ensure the efficient and effective distribution and responsiveness of patient transports personnel. As assigned, assist management in relaying instructions to Patient Services personnel.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES?Ensures prompt and efficient dispatch of patient transport personnel utilizing related patient transport computer system?Provides 24 hour dispatch services in support of patients throughout ?Models and promotes a culture of empathy, respect and ?patients first? for all transportation services activities?Helps manage quality assurance and performance improvement activities within the Transportation department?Provides technical expertise on all matters related to transportation practices and technology?Conducts training on transportation services dispatch procedures and practices?Maybe assigned leadership duties as a shift lead, in relaying assignments to patient transport personnel when supervisors are not present. Completing shift end reports and other duties as assigned.
