Key Responsibilities:? To maximize sales by sourcing the right product at the right time at the right price with the correct margin on the product by pricing the product as per the concept guidelines and monitoring price revisions.? OTB and Vendor Management. ? Profit maximization and cost optimization through centralized bulk buying or vendor mix.? Allocation and Inventory management? Option strategy creation? Sell thru by category/ Brand.? Maintaining optimum stock covers by having a correct mix of newness and ageing stocks.? Working on Markdowns, sales events to liquidate slow sellers. ? To allocate the right stock to territories and ensure correct allocations to stores. ? To prepare the buying plan/ Range based on the Trends and to maintain the correct balance of inventory in line with the budgeted inflow.? Planning of end to end Buying Calendars & Events ? Competitor analysis (R&D) by visiting our competitors who carry same range of products, study their range, color, price & compare with Lifestyle products.? Negotiate Logistics and deliveries to assist the suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods, working on TOT , RTVs working on shipment terms / LC terms / marking requirements, etc.? Review and analyze stock / sales reports for stock replenishment of top sellers in each department / Brand. ? To work with the VM team to build planograms for the stores and debriefing the store staff for the same? Margin regulation and markdown management? Price strategy creation and implementation? Brand rationalization and new brand research to find brands which fit company portfolio
